Years ago, a strategic cold call from our Resin Divisional Lead, Jay
Livingstone, laid the foundation for a long-standing relationship with Volvo.
The Project
Today, that initial outreach has evolved into a partnership of trust and excellence as we manage their flooring needs.
The most recent project brought us to their Prototype workshop, home to the cutting-edge RA30 truck, a 9.3Ltr engineering marvel designed and built in Scotland and sold globally.
The Challenges
Oil contamination posed a unique challenge to the workshop slab, requiring us to use specialised solutions.
The Process
With the expertise of our crew, we tackled the project as follows:
- Grind preparation to remove existing coatings.
- Application of Oil Tolerant primer to combat slab contamination.
- Fill and repair remedial damage.
- 1st coat of high-build coating with slip resistance.
- 2nd coat of high-build coating.
- Demarcation.
- Joints.
