Project Details:
ATS were appointed to deliver the screed package at Frogston Primary School, Edinburgh, where an SR1 surface regularity specification was required.
An SR1 finish allows no more than 3mm deviation under a 2m straight edge, demanding precision across the entire slab.

The Project
Following a full site survey, the slab was mechanically ground, vacuumed and primed with an epoxy scatter system to create a clean, controlled base.
Laser-set tripods ensured SR1 accuracy across the 738 m², while Flowcrete Isocrete 1500+ was mixed on demand via TransMix, with recipe and slump verified before pouring. Flowcrete visited site for quality checks.
Consistent screed batching allowed the full area to be completed in just 1 hour 15 minutes.
