A blue-chip global drinks manufacturer relocated part of its production line into a newly configured area within its existing facility. Having previously delivered flooring solutions across other parts of the site, ATS was brought back in to support the next phase of the project, ensuring consistency, quality, and a proven delivery approach.
The relocation created an opportunity to improve workflow clarity, operational efficiency, and safety through a redesigned floor layout incorporating KANBAN principles and integrated demarcation systems.
The Solution:
TS delivered a fully integrated KANBAN-driven floor layout system within a newly prepared and finished epoxy resin floor. KANBAN, a core principle of Lean Manufacturing, uses visual management to support movement, workflow control, and operational organisation.
By embedding the system directly into the floor finish itself, ATS created a durable and highly visible layout aligned with the client’s new production configuration while maintaining consistency with previously completed areas of the facility.
The project involved:
- Surface preparation and floor refurbishment
- Installation of epoxy high-build resin flooring
- Integrated anti-slip finishes
- KANBAN visual management zoning
